Faculty 10 / Institute of Molecular Physiology of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz
Postdoctoral position
full time (100%)
The group of Prof. Dorothee Dormann investigates the molecular causes of neurodegenerative diseases, with a focus on disease-linked RNA-binding proteins with intrinsically disordered regions. We study their nucleocytoplasmic transport, phase separation and physiological functions and how these processes are misregulated in disease. We combine biochemistry, biophysics with cell and molecular biology and mainly use cell cultures and in vitro systems.

- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:
- An international and vibrant working environment
- Training opportunities in an interdisciplinary research network (www.crc1551.com)
