The Institute of Anatomy at University of Luebeck, Germany (Director: Univ.-Prof. Dr. J. Westermann), is offering a

Doctoral Position 

within the Research Training Group (graduiertenkolleg) GRK 1721. This is a fixed-term position until March 31th 2020 available as soon as possible at 65 % of a full-time position. 

The main topic of the project is “Dynamics of the T cell receptor repertoire under the influence of immunoreactions and circadian rhythms”. Core of the project will be the characterization of the T cell receptor repertoire using next generation sequencing. The research program includes jointly held courses as well as mandatory literature seminars and lecture series.

Candidates should be highly motivated in solving scientific questions of modern immuno-biology and must hold a masters degree in biology, biochemistry or a related discipline. Additional knowledge in statistics, mathematics and informatics as well as practical experience with laboratory animals, microscopy and quantitative PCR are desirable. 

The salary corresponds to the level of TV-L E13 (65%) of the German public service salary scale.
