In the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences at the University of Erfurt, Professorship for Applied Microeconomics, the following position with 20 hours per week is to be filled as soon as possible:

Research Assistant (f/m/d)
pay group 13 TV-L (50 %)

Area of Responsibility

• Provision of scientific services in research and teaching (2 weekly lecture hours per semester)
• Participation in the preparation and implementation of research projects of the professorship
• Supervision of student theses
• Participation in administrative tasks of the professorship
• Own further scientific qualification (doctorate) in the subject area of the professorship, which focuses on microeconomics and empirical economic research

What we expect

• Successfully completed university studies (diploma/MA/state examination) in economics or related fields of study with an above-average degree
• Sound prior knowledge in the main topics of the professorship (microeconomics, empirical economic research)
• Very good knowledge of German or English
• Interest and aptitude for scientific work as well as for participation in teaching
• Ability to work in a team, communication skills, commitment and pleasure in working independently in the fields of the professorship
