Die THI ist bundesweit herausragend in Forschung und Lehre. Im Rahmen der HighTech Agenda Bayern wurde Ingolstadt zum KI-Knoten für Mobilität mit den Schwerpunkten autonomes Fahren, unbemanntes Fliegen und KI-gestützte Produktion. Die Aktivitäten des KI-Knotens werden in “AImotion Bavaria“, einem In-Institut der Technischen Hochschule, gebündelt.
AImotion Bavaria hat das Ziel, bis 2025 insgesamt 100 Wissenschaftler und Wissenschaftlerinnen im Bereich der Künstlichen Intelligenz aufzubauen. Ziel ist es, einen Beitrag zur Absicherung der Technologieführerschaft des Standorts Bayern, zur Stärkung seiner Schlüsselindustrien und zur Sicherung seiner Zukunftsfähigkeit in ökologischer, ökonomischer und sozialer Perspektive zu leisten.
The THI is one of Germany’s leading universities in the fields of applied science and education. No wonder, then, that the TH was chosen for the AI Hub for Mobility with focus on autonomous driving, unmanned air traffic and AI-controlled production within the framework of the High-Tech Agenda Bavaria (HTA). Those AI-activities are pooled at the institute “Almotion Bavaria”.
Almotion Bavaria was launched to build up a network of 100 scientists in the fields of Artificial Intelligence by 2025. It’s aim is to strengthen Bavaria’s technological leadership and key industries as well as to secure it’s ecological, economic and social future.

Development of AI concepts and algorithms in the area of formal knowledge representation and processing, and/or machine learning with a special focus on the combination of both approaches (symbolic and subsymbolic AI)

Implementierung und Evaluation der erarbeiteten Konzepte im Rahmen von Softwareprototypen im Anwendungskontext Produktion und/oder Logistik
Implementation and evaluation of the developed concepts in terms of software prototypes in the application context “production and/or logistics”

Erarbeitung von Innovationskonzepten in Produktions- und/oder Logistikszenarien durch KI Ansätze bei schwieriger Datenlage (wenige, unzuverlässige, ungelabelte oder unbalancierte Daten)
Development of innovation concepts in production and/or logistics scenarios using AI-based approaches in difficult data situations (sparse, unreliable, unlabeled, or unbalanced data)

Bearbeiten von Arbeitspaketen in öffentlich und industriell geförderten nationalen und/oder internationalen Drittmittelprojekten, sowie Unterstützung bei der Projektakquise

Ihr Profil - Your profile

Hochschulabschluss (Master) in Informatik, Mathematik, Physik, Maschinenbau, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder einer vergleichbaren technisch/mathematischen Fachdisziplin
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Engineering and Management, or another comparable technical/mathematical area of study

Kenntnisse und Erfahrung in einem oder mehreren der folgenden Bereiche: Semantische Technologien, Maschinelles Lernen, Data Analytics, Datenbanksysteme, Optimierung, Industrie 4.0

Es handelt sich um eine auf 48 Monate befristete Vollzeitstelle mit einem Umfang von 40,10 Wochenstunden im Angestelltenverhältnis. Unsere Stellen sind grundsätzlich teilzeitfähig, sofern durch Job-Sharing die ganztägige Wahrnehmung der Aufgabe gesichert ist. Die Vergütung erfolgt nach TV-L in Entgeltgruppe 13. Bei diesen Stellen werden Schwerbehinderte bei gleicher Eignung bevorzugt. Die Bewerbung von Frauen wird ausdrücklich begrüßt (Art. 7 Abs. 3 BayGIG).
The contract is limited to 48 month and the weekly working time as salaried member of staff is 40,10 hours. All job vacancies advertised are suitable for part-time employment as long as a proper fulfillment of the tasks is guaranteed throughout the day. Remuneration will be paid in accordance with remuneration group 13 TV-L. Severely disabled applicants are given preferential consideration in the event of equal qualification.
